"Juggling the Past and Present"

A mural by Joel Carson Jones

The City of Pittston and the Downtown Pittston Partnership are thrilled to announce the city's newest mural, "Juggling the Past and Present", which will be an ode to the original Pittston American Theatre that stood in this city from 1924 to the 1980s. This vaudeville style, 40' mural will proudly display on the side 81 S. Main Street and will add to the charm and allure of Downtown Pittston.

Art is a key pillar in Downtown Pittston. Pieces like this mural represent the revitalization of our city and highlight the importance of remembering the past, and celebrating the future. As we continue to grow our creative footprint, we rely on the generosity of our community to fund projects and continue the enhancement of this city that we call home.
